Are YOU looking for a Socially Distanced Way to Stay Active and Connected with the Community?

In July, SHOW not only had a new building of tenants join our family, but we also welcomed a new staff member. With the new position of Health Resources Coordinator, Fiona joined our team with the aim of working with all our tenants (and community members like you) to positively contribute to their physical health.

Fiona began collaborating with exercise and wellness instructors in the KW area to introduce different activity classes for our tenants and you to take part in. Over the past few weeks, she has taken advantage of the good weather to offer outdoor, socially distanced exercise/wellness classes for our tenants and the rest of the KW community. Each week, certified instructors have visited the different SHOW properties and offered gently paced exercise classes for the physical benefit of those participating. Classes so far have included yoga, tai chi, strength and stretch, and even chair yoga! SHOW is fortunate to have received grants that allow us to have Fiona on our team and to be able to offer this wellness initiative not only to our tenants but to everyone in our community. If you have not already joined us for a class, then we encourage you to come join us in future classes! All classes are free of charge (although donations are welcomed) and offered at a beginner’s level. Just follow SHOW on social media to get updates on when and which classes are being offered.
