Rotary Waterloo: Bringing Us Smiles and a Renovated New Tenant Unit at 144 Erb St E

When we shared our vision of affordable housing for seniors with Rotary, they agreed on the importance of this project. Now, more than ever, Rotary Waterloo and its members see the value of home for our seniors, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

With a recent gift, Rotary Waterloo will be ensuring we can refresh and refurbish a tenant unit at our newest building, 144 Erb St E. The building was built in the 1970’s so as you can imagine, it is dated, and not built to support the needs of some our tenants. From new cupboards, fresh paint, and increased accessibility in the washroom, Rotary’s gift with make our next new tenant feel welcome and at home.

What’s even better, Rotary has also offered their gift of time, providing (safe and socially-distanced) volunteer resources to help with the renovations.
